Why do we only deliver to this zone?

Gerry’s Partisan Pizza is an initiative from non-partisan anti-corruption organization RepresentUs to spread awareness of gerrymandering. We must demand that this dangerous assault on democracy ends.

Gerrymandering is when politicians manipulate voting districts to rig elections. They redraw voting district lines in a way that unfairly advantages one political party over another – and it allows them to pick their own voters instead of the other way around. In 1812, Massachusetts Governor Elbridge Gerry inspired the term "gerrymander" when he approved a redistricting plan that packed his opponents' voters into only a few districts to keep his political party in power. Gerrymandering has been practiced widely since.

We are currently in a once-in-a-decade redistricting cycle, where corrupt politicians are sharpening their knives, preparing to slice districts to their political benefit. Unless we take action right now, more than 188 million people will be stuck with unaccountable representatives for the next ten years. 1.
